Getting started
Which booking platform does CourtCatch work with?
CourtCatch books through Mijn KNLTB, the reservation system Dutch tennis clubs use. If your club handles court reservations there, CourtCatch can book for you.
What do I need to get started?
An active Mijn KNLTB account — your federation membership number and password. That is the same login you already use to book a court by hand.
Will it work at my club?
It works at clubs that open their courts a fixed number of days in advance, at a fixed time — the setup most clubs use. You tell CourtCatch how many days ahead and at what time your club opens, because those rules are set per club.
If your club releases courts irregularly, or has no online reservations at all, there is no fixed moment to aim for.
Do I have to install anything?
No. CourtCatch runs on its own servers and fires whether your phone and laptop are on or off.
Booking
How does CourtCatch actually book?
It sends the same reservation request to KNLTB that the app sends when you book by hand, using your own account and with you and your chosen buddies on the reservation. The difference is the timing: it is prepared in advance and sent at the exact moment your club opens the slot.
Do I have to be awake when the courts open?
No. That is the entire point. You set the schedule up during the day and CourtCatch handles the opening moment, whenever it is.
What happens if the court is already taken?
If you set a fallback court on the schedule, CourtCatch immediately tries that one instead. If there is no fallback, or the fallback is gone too, the attempt is recorded as a conflict and you get a notification saying so.
What if one of my buddies is already playing?
KNLTB refuses a reservation when someone on it is already booked at that time. CourtCatch detects that, swaps the blocking partner out and sends the reservation again.
You decide in advance how the swap works: replace with any available buddy, or only with buddies from a shortlist you picked.
Can I book a recurring slot?
Yes. A schedule can run once, daily, weekly, or on specific weekdays, between a start and an end date. Which of those you can use depends on your plan.
How do I know whether it worked?
You get a notification in your dashboard after every attempt, naming the court and the time that was booked or the reason it failed. Every attempt also stays in the attempt log with the request, the response and the response code.
Can I still book by hand?
Yes. Your KNLTB account keeps working exactly as it did. CourtCatch only acts on the schedules you created.
Account and security
Where are my KNLTB credentials stored?
Your password and the session token CourtCatch receives from KNLTB are stored encrypted in the database. They are used to sync your courts and buddies and to send your reservations.
Is this allowed?
CourtCatch books through your own account, with you on the reservation, exactly as you would yourself. It does not resell courts, does not bypass a club rule and does not book slots you are not entitled to.
Your club's reservation rules still apply and you stay responsible for them. If your club has a policy on automated booking, that policy applies to your account.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can unlink your KNLTB account at any time, which stops every schedule attached to it.
Plans and billing
What does it cost?
There is a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. The exact limits and the price are on the pricing page.
How do I pay?
Payments run through Mollie, as a monthly recurring subscription. You are charged per month, not per booking.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You cancel from your account, and there is no minimum term. Your subscription runs until the end of the period you already paid for, after which you fall back to the Free plan.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. Every paid month produces an invoice with its own sequential number, available as a PDF from your account.
What happens to my schedules if I go back to Free?
The Free plan allows fewer active schedules than Pro. If you have more than the Free plan permits, the excess schedules are paused rather than deleted — upgrade again and you can reactivate them.
